-- Librarianism! I've secured a spot in my occupation of choice. No more splitting bagels for a living!
-- Reading Frenzy! Direct, unavoidable access to scads of literature has made me a happily overeager English major.
-- Neatness! We recently put our apartment through a second wave of organization, meaning that the storage in our closets and elsewhere makes more sense and is more efficient. No more boxes on the floor! It just keeps getting better and better in here.
-- N64! Dreamcast! NES! Playstation II!... We recently swapped our television stand for another, and we're very excited that several of our video game systems fit on its shelves instead of having to remain in a pile on the floor.
-- Healthiness! Nathaniel and I are putting great effort into eating mostly whole, unprocessed foods and getting more exercise.
-- Love. Nathaniel and I spent our first Christmas together and have begun preparing for our marriage later this year. :3
I haven't been overly inspired to draw lately, but I believe the reawakening of my interest in Pokémon is quickly changing that. I also have some long-term creative projects in mind that have slowly begun blossoming -- and so the seasons continue to cycle on.
The happiest of New Years to you all!

How was your 4th O' July?
And I'm still determined to draw you something!

....~what goes around, comes around~....
So much has been going on since we last wrote that I'm not sure where to begin, but suffice it to say that Nathaniel and I are still happy and getting along in the world as best we can.
I hope your life has been a GOOD soap opera. ^__^
You are busy busy busy.
I'm busy busy busy, too.

What have you been busy with?
Now that you mention it, though, I believe it's high time I drew something for you...hmm...
Anyways, I'm *finally* finishing up my last semester for my certificate. Thank goodness. I am beginning to feel a little burnt out with college, so I'm looking forward to a class-free summer.
What's up on your end?

It really is tough, though. I'm excited for when Nathaniel and I move into a bigger apartment, one with TWO bedrooms, so the extra room can be the craft/peaceful retreat room. I really yearn for an out-of-the-way place to curl up with a book. Not that I don't like being around Nathaniel, but when you can't go anywhere that isn't a bedroom or around a television, sometimes I just... need to de-stress. Wind down and have time in my own head, quietly, for my own thoughts.
Congratulations! You know, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I can't remember what your certificate was in. But that's awesome! Enjoy the summer off.
That's really it on this end.
And don't worry about drawing anything for me. If you're inspired, go ahead, and I'll love it. If not, don't push yourself. Don't lock yourself in to the Block of Doom on my behalf!
I agree. When you need a place for creative though processing, or to read quietly, you really need somewhere that's "separated" from the rest of the house. I use my room, but I can't do anything on my easel because I have no room. I'm limited to sketchbooks. Anywhere else in the house is high in traffic, and I'm ADD enough WITHOUT distractions.
I will try to appease the Apartment Gods into finding you a nice sized place when the time comes. *Incense and a jig* For a place to stash all your books (not stolen from the library, of COURSE)and maybe it will have room for chickens
And congratulations on the wedding! I wish you and your fiance the best. Not just on your wedding day, but all the days before and after.
